BIG Changes Coming For East Coast Drag News

In an effort to get our news and photo's to our subscribers faster, we will be enhancing our internet magazine between now and the next printed issue, approximately 4 months. We will add updated news info and images on a weekly, if not daily, basis.

The cost of paper, printing, production, and mailing escalates everytime we put out a printed issue. We all know the tough economic issues of today and East Coast Drag News is no different. Many mainstream newspapers and magazines are having the same problems as many are either folding up entirely or are going to the internet. We are doing the best we can to keep costs under control and the printed version active.

Among the many items we are working in the next couple months will be a possible new and enhanced web site and new image gallery's. We are working on setting up a subscriber password/key system so current and new subscribers will have complete access to the magazine. There will be some "free" area's but most will be subscriber only. All current and future advertisers will be fully integrated into the new system.

HOWEVER...we DO need your help. This is YOUR publication and we encourage your friends and racers to subscribe. We NEED your support!

What I would like to get from our readers and supporters is some recommendations on web design company's. I have looked at a few. Some are expensive, some are not. Please e-mail here with any recomends you might have.

We also need schedules! We'll be contacting racetracks, organizations, and venues to get as many 2010 schedules up as we can.
